Kelly Yu
As one of China’s pioneering practitioners in CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) consultancy and dedicated professional in sustainability research, Kelly Yu has accumulated various grounded experience by working with both local and international institutions in China, including companies, government agencies, think-tanks and development organizations. Her background spans from inside company operations, consulting firm services, to collaborative delivery of research, networking, consulting and training across various institutions. Her recent work at AccountAbility leading the partnership with DRC (Development Research Center of State Council) to implement the breaking-through research, “Responsible Business in Africa: Chinese Business Leaders’ Perspectives on Performance and Enhancement Opportunities”, has gained wide recognition and generated broader discussions and partnership work in this area.
Kelly started her career by working for leading MNCs in China and became specialized in corporate communication. Her business experiences provided aspiration in furthering her career into Corporate Social Responsibility and broader sustainability issues at both practical and research levels. In her recent work at AccountAbility, Kelly has managed advisory service engagements in China, she delivered training and research projects for companies and wide range of partners, involved in AA1000 series standards initiatives and consultation process as well.
Kelly obtained her Master’s degree from London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), major in Social and Public Communication.
